BEFORE YOU GO

Here is information that SAPPHIRE attendees may find useful before heading off to SAPPHIRE 2008 Berlin:

Airport Transportation – Wednesday, May 21, 11:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Complimentary ground transportation is available to Tegel Airport and Schönefeld Airport. Shuttles depart every 30 minutes outside the main entrance of Messe Berlin. Please address any questions concerning the shuttle transportation service to the personnel at the hospitality desk located in the check-in area at the main entrance.

Complimentary Ticket for Public Transport
A free Berlin Public Transport ticket will be distributed upon check-in to every SAPPHIRE 2008 attendee. The ticket will allow for unlimited use of Berlin's Public Transport System in areas A, B, and C and will be valid from May 18 to May 21.

Badges
Badges are necessary to gain access to all SAP activities, including Celebration Night at SAPPHIRE 2008, on Tuesday, May 20. Security personnel will be checking badges throughout the conference, so please make sure your badge is visible at all times. Do not misplace your badge. Do not lend it to anyone. The replacement cost of a lost badge is equal to the cost of your registration.

Business Service Center
The business service center is located in the main entrance next to the check-in counters. There you can perform photocopying and printing free of charge. We would like to thank Océ for sponsoring this complimentary business service center.

First Aid and Medical Emergencies
For your added safety, we have set up a first-aid station at Messe Berlin located in Hall 3.2. Please see the floor plans provided in the on-site guide for the exact location.

Information Desks
SAPPHIRE 2008 information desks can be found in the main aisle next to the hall entrances. If you have any questions or need assistance, please ask any SAPPHIRE 2008 staff member or visit the information desks. Our conference staff will be happy to assist you.
Hours of operation are as follows:

Monday, May 19 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 20 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 21 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Lost and Found
Please contact our staff at the registration desk located at the main entrance for lost or found items.

Luggage Storage and Coat Check

For your convenience, complimentary luggage storage and coat check are available in Hall 1.1.
Open hours are as follows:

Sunday, May 18 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Monday, May 19 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 20 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.
Wednesday, May 21 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Lunch and Refreshments
A buffet lunch will be served in Hall 1.2 through Hall 6.2 on the show floor from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily. Refreshments and snacks are available throughout the day.

The registration desk is located at the main entrance of Messe Berlin.

Monday, May 19 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m
Tuesday, May 20 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Wireless Access
SAP provides complimentary wireless Internet access to all SAPPHIRE 2008 attendees in Hall 1.2 through Hall 6.2. You must supply your own wireless equipment to access the system.
For access, go to the wireless properties page of your device and search for available networks. Select the SAPPHIRE network and connect.
For technical support with wireless access, contact the help desk located in the foyer between Hall 3.2 and Hall 4.2.
Hours of operation are as follows:

Monday, May 19 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 20 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 21 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Personal Property and Unattended Items
We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. We recommend that you secure your valuables at your hotel. If you choose to bring a laptop, PDA, or other personal item with you to Messe Berlin , you are responsible for assuring its safekeeping.
Please do not leave any items unattended. For the safety and protection of conference attendees and staff, please keep track of your bags and personal items. Any bags, backpacks, suitcases, packages, boxes, or handbags brought into Messe Berlin may be searched. Any item left unattended is subject to confiscation.
Please report any unattended items to the nearest SAPPHIRE 2008 staff member or uniformed security guard.
